Stanley Chell 2024 - Saturday 16th November, 1pm, Aberdare
Aberdare CC have announced that this years Stanley Chell will be held at 1pm on Saturday 16th November 2024, at Cynon Linc, Seymour Street, Aberdare, CF44 7BD. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The judge will be Ralph Snook, ARPS, EFIAP/b, DPAGB and he will decide on five awards:
The Stanley Chell Memorial Trophy for Best Club Entry of 4 Prints
The Hans Hoyer Trophy for the Best Monochrome Print
The Glyn John Trophy for the Best Colour Print
The Glan and Mair Howells Trophy for the Best Landscape Print
The Doris Chell Memorial Trophy for the Best Overall Print

Cardigan Inter Club Competition - Wednesday 16th October 2024, via ZOOM, 7.30pm.
Theme: "Man Made" and "Nature's Patterns". Judge: Mr Harry Gardiner AWPF
Each club to submit 10 images (jpegs) at a maximum size of 1600 x 1200 pixels. All images should fall into "Man Made" or "Nature's Patterns". Four clubs are participating: Aberystwyth, Carmarthen, New Quay and Cardigan.
A photographer can only submit 2 images maximum to the competition. At least 4 images from each club should fit one of the two themes ie a club's entry could comprise 4 x MM and 6 x NP, or 5 x MM and 5 x NP, or 6 x MM and 4 x NP.

Members please submit 2 images, one for each theme.

This is an open battle; no themes. Each club to submit 10 digital images at 1600 x 1200 pixels. Each photographer can submit a maximum of 2 images, and a photographer can only represent one club. Nine clubs are participating in this competition: Tenby, Afan Nedd, Cardigan, Carmarthen, Kidwelly, Llanelli, Trostra, Morriston and New Quay.
