17th July: Club Outing - Devil's Bridge (Pontarfynach) and Bwlch Nant-yr-Arian Kite Centre
A club outing to Devil's Bridge and Nant-yr-Arian. Meet at the railway station car park Devil's Bridge at 10:30hrs. We meet again at the visitor centre at Nant-yr-Arian at 13:30hrs. It promises to be a good day for steam trains, landscapes and Red Kites!!

31st July: Club Outing - Newport (Trefdraeth)
An opportunity to explore the charming town of Newport with its narrow lanes, church, castle, beach-side cottages and river estuary. Meet at the public car park in Long Street at 10:30.

15th August: Club Outing - Elan Valley Dam Visit
A club visit to the Pen y Garreg dam in the beautiful Elan Valley, Powys. Dŵr Cymru's Open Day dam visit plus an exploration of the Elan Valley is bound to yield some great photographic opportunities. Meet at the Visitor Centre, Elan Village at 11am.

30th August: Club Outing - St David's
The club ventures south to the beautiful Cathedral City of St David's, Pembrokeshire. Meet at the Oriel y Parc car park, which is on the roundabout on the A487 as it leaves the city eastwards, towards Haverfordwest.

7 September, 7pm - First Meeting of the 2023-24 Season - Getting into Flickr
Bring along your laptop, tablet or smartphone and we can go through the process of signing up to Flickr if you’re not already a member, or signing in and seeing how the new New Quay CC Flickr groups are going to work.

A day's visit to the Gwili Railway, Carmarthenshire to photograph and experience the 45th anniversary of the Gwili Railway Preservation Society.

Nicky is known to us as an excellent photographer who has kindly agreed to give us a presentation this evening on various aspects of her work.

A competition between 12 clubs, each club appointing their own judge, scores from each judge will be combined to find the winning club.

1 hour to take 6 photographs around New Quay. Six titles or themes will be publicised at the beginning of the meeting, and each participant shall return to the Hall after 1 hour, submitting 3

A number of successful photographic trips were enjoyed by members in past seasons. We would like to build on this, and members’ ideas or preferences are invited. Suggestions for visits to exhibitions or galleries, for example, would also be most welcome.
